Under the instruction of Mrs. Debbie Solga, the OLMC library serves grades K-8. Grades K to 5 have a curriculum spiraling in complexity. The content is comprised of an introduction to our computer library catalog, achieving competency in location skills including an understanding of the Dewey Decimal System, supporting students' needs in research projects, and most importantly implementing a wide variety of individualized strategies to foster a love for reading.

Grades 6th, 7th and 8th have an independent reading program consisting of 242 selections of choice literature tailored to reading levels and interests. There are several tests per trimester. The grades for those are included in the language arts reading section of the report card. We are a library for lifelong readers!
